What does your role entail and why is it important for oceans and coastlines?


We are working on a seagrass restoration project. Seagrass is well known to protect coasts from erosion, increasing biodiversity and sequestering carbon.


What advice would you give someone wanting to start a career like yours?


Do it! The blue economy becoming increasingly important. The job options related to that are quite diverse.


What skills are important for your job?


Transdisciplinary understanding


What do you enjoy most about your work? And what do you dislike?


The chance to visit cool places. Sitting at the computer.
